Hawg Holler Bike Fest - Atwood, TN  May15-18

Most of us have never been to this rally, but it is only slightly farther away than the Mulberry Run. In the forum section, I will have maps from a couple place in the State to Atwood, TN. This event looks very promising with Music, Biker Events, Vendors, etc. It also an Adult Event...so you have been warned. The gates close every night at MIDNIGHT. FRIDAY WE WILL HAVE STAGE CONTESTS & LIVE BANDS. SAT. WE WILL HAVE A POKER RUN, BIKE SHOW, FIELD EVENTS, BANDS AND THE MISS HAWG HOLLER CONTEST. THIS IS AN ADULT RALLY. The Razorbiker crew WILL BE AT THIS RALLY...so hope to see you there!!!
The Trolley's are coming to LS in 2008

The Little Sturgis Planning Committee have decided to allow Trolley's at Little Sturgis. What "exactly" is a Trolley? Well, the LS website says more information to come, but my guess is that is some sort of a "modified" wagon, something like we saw a few years ago, but much safer now. Maybe rails or something like that...but it is back. Which is very good news! So it looks like LS is gearing up for a very good year in 2008.

If you have never  been to LS, and are planning on staying in a hotel...I HIGHLY SUGGEST you contact a hotel NOW for your stay. In fact, start out close to the site (Henderson, Marion, etc)...and work your way out as you get a "no vacancy" response.

I will continue to report and update any changes to this rally. OR, you can look for yourself here:   http://www.littlesturgisrally.net

Good Luck!

One of our own members, Chopperdude won BEST OF SHOW at the Easy Riders Bike Show in Memphis this past weekend (January 2nd). Chopperdude came all the way from Nashville to enter his bike in the show and as the headline says...he brought home the trophy for Best of Show. Congratulations Chopperdude...hope we'll see you at Little Sturgis!
GALS
GALS is coming soon!! An announcement will be about 30 days before the event? Makes you wonder what it is...don't it?
NEW GALLERY FEATURE

The Photo Gallery has been updated and a new gallery feature has been added. You can now SORT out all RECENT PICTURES, MOST VIEWED PICTURES, TOP RATED PICTURES and MOST COMMENTED PICTURES.

When you go to the gallery, you'll see the categories for Most Viewed, Recent, Top Rated and Most Commented pictures, and to the right of each title, you'll see a link for (LIST ALL). When you click on the LIST ALL link it will list the files for that category and then you'll have the option to SORT in ascending and descending order.

What this does for (you) the viewer is allow you to see JUST the top rated, most viewed, most recent and most commented images without having to HUNT for the images. Try it out...and enjoy.
16th Annual Little Sturgis Rally NEWS
July 17, 18, 19, 20 2008

Yeah I know LS is over 7 months away, but there is some UNUSUAL news this year. I happened by the LS website and noticed that for the 16th annual edition of Little Sturgis, they will be giving away a $15,000.00 dollar cash prize. That's right, 15G's!!! You will be given a short survey when you purchase your $40 rally bracelet. The survey must be turned in by 4pm Saturday, and the drawing will be held Saturday night at 7pm.

Sounds like there will be some changes this year...I hope this is not all...but I still look forward to it.
Patriot Guard Riders Take Note

FINALLY there is someone with BALLS to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

Read this story...

BALTIMORE - A grieving father won a nearly $11 million verdict Wednesday against a fundamentalist Kansas church that pickets military funerals out of a belief that the war in Iraq is a punishment for the nation's tolerance of homosexuality. Albert Snyder of York, Pa., sued the Westboro Baptist Church for unspecified damages after members demonstrated at the March 2006 funeral of his son, Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder, who was killed in Iraq.

The jury first awarded $2.9 million in compensatory damages. It returned in the afternoon with its decision to award $6 million in punitive damages for invasion of privacy and $2 million for causing emotional distress. Snyder's attorney, Craig Trebilcock, had urged jurors to determine an amount "that says don't do this in Maryland again. Do not bring your circus of hate to Maryland again!"

Bikes, Blues & BBQ

Well, the BBB was definitely an experience. I had no idea there would be that many people attending an ARKANSAS BIKER RALLY. We left early Friday morning and got to Fayetteville a little before noon. Our first stop was the demo bike area and we all demo'd some Harley's. I chose a Softail Custom Deluxe...very nice. It handled very well (although pretty noisy shifting). Anyway by the time we made it through our demo ride, we had spent an close to 2 hours just in that one spot. After the demo ride we headed over to Dickson Street. Even though it was just Friday, Dickson Street was PACKED. Lots of people.

I know I had phone calls from several people...but HONESTLY, I never felt or heard the phone ring...I didn't know I had messages until we got ready to leave. So our first BBB was a VERY QUICK ride. Literally we spent only 3.5 hours at the rally...not EVEN enough time. Next year, it will be a 2 day event for me.

If you are not familiar with this event...you need to check it out...very well organized and LOTS of parties at the campsites.

I did take a few pics...you can find in the gallery or by clicking HERE.
A (funny) True Story from Drifter BigJohn

We knew BigJohn wasn't around for awhile, however we just figured he on a ride or something...far from that, below is an excerpt from his explanation of his disappearance.

"I touched the prongs to my naked thigh, pushed the button, and HOLY SHIT! DAaaaauuuuuuMN!!! I'm pretty sure that Jessie Ventura ran in through the front door, picked me up out of that recliner, and then body slammed me on the carpet over and over again."
